Yoga

Yoga for everyone

I wish to create classes, practice, atmosphere where everyone who feels that yoga is right for them, can join.

Basically, in the practice of Asana, I offer classical Hatha yoga.
During practice, I try to focus on our body through movement and breath. Pranayana and meditation are thus present in the practice of yoga.

I see myself as a teacher for beginners and for little advanced yogis.

Even though I have spent many years studying and working with soul, body and mind. But I need to stay humble and grounded. The more I learn, the more I realize how much I don’t know.
I am not a physiotherapist or a doctor. I can’t help with specific pains.
What I do know is that the body can choose the right movement for itself. That we need to be gentle and kind to ourselves. And that regular yoga movement brings its fruits.

Yoga practice and benefits.

NO NEED FOR PERFECT ASANA.

Bring awareness to your BODY movement and breath. There is no need to make perfect Asana. It is important to know what and how to do, but the goal is to get align with ourselves.

We store a lot unnecessary in body – memories, feelings, emotions. With deepening of asanas, we can ralease them.

With regular training movements we become stronger in the body. We support the health of the musculoskeletal system but also of our mind.

HOLD YOUR HORSES.

In yoga it belongs a special attention to a MIND. We are almost in constant dialog with our mind. We use to buy all she says to us. She can be like spoiled or hurt child or very strict parent to us and to other people.

Ancient veda says, that mind can be like a speeding carriage with uncontrolled horses. We need to learn to hold the reins tightly and direct the carriage.

We are deciding to by optiminst or pesimist, what words we are choosing, what toughts we going to feed.

Yoga practice is offering several options how to work on it.

TO FEEL ALIVE.

We all experienced how it feels to be alive.

It’s not just about feeling happy. Happiness is just a flash in time and space. It’s not permanent.

When we are in tune with our SOUL, we know what feeds her. And we act so that the soul does not starve.

We perceive the universality of being and at the same time the uniqueness of every life.

Joy in simplicity and in the everyday.

Me and Yoga.

Honestly… I was not interested in yoga before my age 33. For me it was movement and flexibility I could never reach, or even get closer. Often, when I tried some yoga class, it was mostly big frustration for me.

As I am writing, it was only body movement. I did not meet any yoga teacher who would be really guiding me trough yoga practice. When I was 14, there was no yoga class or yoga teacher around. I red about a guy who was practicing yoga. He was doing for hours headstand during nights when he could not sleep… com on, I did not see it can be my cup of tea 🙂

After age 33 I have met person who opened my interest for yoga.

One day, I watched one video about Rishikesh city in India. The guy was saying, that it is the city of many yoga teachers training programs. With no yoga teacher around me, I realized, that I can become a teacher, and help myself develope more. And on my way to learn, teach and practice yoga I can offer others to join me.

A year later I went to India and completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training (YTT200 certificate).

Yoga for groups.

I can lead nice yoga class for working group, family or group of friends who want enrich their time together.

As I mentioned above, I would like to offer yoga to everyone. Who wants to try it, join, gain new experiences or just want to do something for their health.

I mostly offer classic hatha yoga, but I can also adapt to a group that is interested. From morning gentle yoga, through meditation and breathing exercises to more dynamic flow yoga practice.
